Our private mindfulness sessions are for students, teachers, and parents from the community who would like to develop their own mindfulness practice.
All private sessions are online. Please ensure you are in a quiet space for appointments and alone. For student sessions we work with teens only (14 years onwards). Parents are invited to attend these sessions with their teens.
After the first session you can decide with your teacher if you would like weekly or twice monthly sessions. After the first class you will be required to pay for a package of four classes to ensure your own commitment to the practice. We are here to help you succeed!
All mindfulness teachers are experienced and qualified, and have completed their Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) which is an intensive two year training.
Why do one-to-one sessions? Here are a few main reasons that having your very own mindfulness teacher could prove to be quite beneficial.
Accountability
Working with a mindfulness teacher gives us extra incentive to practice. Many of us can make up plenty of excuses not to sit and practice when we are alone. When we have a mentor, we feel encouraged to make that extra effort. It's human nature to thrive and grow when we are given caring and professional feedback.
Tailor Made
With a private mindfulness session we will be able to share with the teacher the style of mindfulness mediation that most inspires us. Also, we can ask important questions on the spot that will help to guide our practice.
Journaling
Radiant Wave mindfulness teachers will also encourage you to journal after your practice. It only takes 5 or so additional minutes to journal after each session. This will help to open you even more deeply into your practice. Your mindfulness teacher will give you journaling prompts that will help you to develop this additional part of your daily practice.
